In January 2022, I will begin my new job as the JFS Library Information Literacy & Faculty Outreach Librarian/Assistant Professor at BYU-Hawaii (BYUH) where I will also serve as Interim Associate Director for their Center for Learning and Teaching. I received both my Master's in English (Composition and Rhetoric) and Master's in Information and Library Science from The University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. Recently, I've had the pleasure of weeding and revamping the entire collection at the Laie Elementary School Library and am conducting IRB research at BYUH on creating a community of OER practice. I am excited to serve as the next HLA Secretary and as a Book Review Editor for The International Journal of Inclusion, Diversity, and Information where I copyedited during grad school as a Shaw Award Fellow.
