Omar Mañacop works as the Systems Librarian for the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library (JKPL). Omar earned his Master of Science in Information Science degree through the University of North Texas’ Library Education for the U.S. Affiliated Pacific or LEAP. Before working with JKPL, Omar worked at the CNMI Department of Labor and Immigration and later moved to the CNMI Department of Commerce. As the Systems Librarian for JKPL, Omar oversees the daily operation of the library’s Information Technology Center, Front Circulation, Bookmobile, and Pacific Room.
