Michele Spatz’s library career has centered on providing consumer health information services and resources. Currently, she serves as the Outreach and Engagement Coordinator for the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Region 5 where she addresses the challenges of health disparities through collaboration with community partners to provide understandable and trusted health information programs and resources in support of diverse needs.  She is deeply committed to advancing the public’s access to meaningful health information.
