Joeten-Kiyu Public Library’s Bookmobile Outreach Services

Hafa adai! The Joeten-Kiyu Public Library’s Bookmobile Outreach Services is the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands’ only mini-library on wheels making weekly visits to various remote communities located throughout Saipan to provide valuable and free public library services and I.C.T. (Information, Communications, Technology) Access. The JKPL’s Bookmobile develops new and strengthens existing private and public partnerships with other agencies to expand services for early learning and provide underserved individuals with limited functional literacy or information skills and with limited or no access to transportation, critical access to information and educational resources offsite in outlying rural areas. Join us as we learn about the JKPL’s Bookmobile and how the Covid-19 pandemic affected our programs and services.
