Helping Students Spot and Resist Misinformation with ‘MisinfoDay’ Educational Event

MisinfoDay is an annual event co-hosted by the University of Washington Center for an Informed Public and Washington State University Edward R. Murrow College of Communication. High school students and educators come to campus for a day to learn from experts in the field about how misinformation works and what they can do to discern fact from fiction online. In this session you'll learn everything you need to know to host MisinfoDay on your own campus or adapt MisinfoDay content to meet your school or public library users’ needs.
