Hafa Adai! My name is Aldebert "Åbe" Deleon Guerrero and I am the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library's Information Technology Specialist I! I graduated in 2019 and 2020 with an Associate's Degree in Computer Applications and Natural Resources Management, respectively. I joined the JKPL team in mid-June of this year and serve as the IT Specialist I under Joey Songsong, the JKPL's Computer Programmer II. I am responsible for overseeing the patrons in the Computer Center and assisting them with any problems or issues that they might have or encounter. In addition to that, I am also responsible for keeping our computers and tech. up to date and working properly. Also, if any of the staff are experiencing difficulties or problems with their devices (computers, printers, etc.), I will be called upon to help resolve those issues. I currently plan on developing my skills as an IT Specialist by acquiring CompTIA Certifications in A+, Network+, and Security+ in the near future.
